What portable interface are you looking at?
I have an IBM R51, and I've been toying with the idea of getting a Tascam US-122 (http://www.tascam.com/Products/US-122.html). It has two phantom powered XLR ins, plus it's got two 1/4" inputs. I'm trying to figure out if those are usable simultaneously with the XLR.
Best of luck

Hey, that's a pretty unit. Good price too. I'm gonna assume that the 1/4"s are just alternatives to the XLRs- so only 2 simultaneous inputs. That seems to be the case with the M-Audio Firewire 410, which I was looking at. Right now, I'm leaning toward a Digidesign MBox, but I'm going to investigate that Tascam box further. Thanks.

Hey, I have a month off, so if you're interested in making part 4 another music video let me know and we can toss around some ideas.

...also, you ought to talk to Jeff Phurrough about some of these audio tools. He's a kick ass resource for audio tool knowldege.
